My morning savior

So, I never claimed to be bright. On my way into school I shot in to grab a coffee because I forgot to set the timer on the coffee maker. Fucking freezing out, but no line, so I left the car running, locked the doors, and off I went.... Yeah, left the car running and locked the doors. I got up to order when I realized what I did. I bolted to the car, hoping to run fast enough to turn back time.
I got back to the car and realized my door was still unlocked. Apparently, love the strings for mittens my car is idiot proof. I can't lock my door while the car is running, unless I do it from the outside with a second key.
Thank fuck for that feature, or I would be screwed. I love my car<3

  1. My blogger brother, you're not stupid: you're human! I can identify with your experience (been there in similar situations).

  2. You're so lucky that car was not in East London, UK. It would have been gone the minute you turned your back. By the way, a man was hoovering his car the other day and guess what? someone jumped into the front seat - as he left the keys in the ignition, and they took off with his car almost dragging him down the road. This man was shouting and screaming and tried to out run the car, but they got away. I hear Canada is much safer.

    1. I guess it is a bit safer in Canada. I mean we DO, contrary to popular belief, lock our door, but not when we are home, only when we are out or sleeping. I actually don't bother much at night since I got a dog.0

  3. I had one of those moments the other day, it took me a whole 2 minutes of jiggeling keys before I rememberd I was driving my Mums car and was in fact trying to break into a strangers car, not embarrasing at all.
Glad to hear Nona is doing well Jamie:)
You should buy C some of those headphones that block out all sound then you wont have to tiptoe around when he wants some quiet.

    1. C got in the wrong car once, outside Tim hortons. He was searching for his keys before realizing he left his car running, then noticed the crucifix hanging in the mirror. If that guy left his car running c would have stolen his car, lol.
